The company is currently offering an excellent opportunity for Omani maintenance professionals. They are looking for individuals to fill the positions of Site Superintendent (SS1) and QA-QC Lead (QL1).
The Site Superintendent position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with more than 15 years of experience in maintenance work, preferably in the Petrochemical/Oil and Gas or Power generation industry. The candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in leading maintenance roles with a focus on safety. They should also have knowledge of planning, scheduling, cost leadership, quality systems, industry standards, DEPs (Design and Engineering Practice), and relevant international codes. Proficiency in English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
The QA-QC Lead position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with more than 10 years of experience in turnaround and maintenance jobs, specifically in QA-QC work in the Petrochemical/Oil and Gas or Power generation industry. The candidate should be able to develop and implement QA-QC procedures, set up and maintain all QA-QC documents, and develop inspection and test plans. They should have knowledge of different pipes, gaskets, and bolting materials, as well as welding techniques and their quality requirements. The candidate should also be a qualified Welding Inspector and have a sound working knowledge of various NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) techniques. Proficiency in English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) and computer skills are required.
